Hi,
I had been make some antenna adjustments for the ARRL Test this week-end and
after the variable cap at the tower were replaced I achieve few days ago 1.2
swr in 1.830.

I was concentrated in my new Rx solution, so yesterday evening I made a whole
test, but when then power achieve 1200 watts the swr goes to the infinite and
beyond so I assume than the cap had arced.

I started to test with low power monitoring the swr and at 100 watts the swr
were 2.0 and this number it's substained until the 500 watts level, over that
level the antenna goes in short so swr goes to infinite.

I checked this morning the cap and no signs of arcing founded.

Ideas welcome!!!!

If no solution I will try to make my best at the test restricted by my conds.
