Folks: I have an old Tristao 60 ft crankup, in very good condition. No rusting showing through the galvanized structure at the moment, anywhere, even though the tower is probably 15 - 20 years old. Some retainer pins and clips for the section roller bearings are rusty and should be replaced. (does anyone have these as replacement parts?) Can the life of the tower be prolonged at this stage by painting it? Will the paint stave off development of rust? We are near the water at Monterey Bay.. Another thing, do tristao towerr have a manufacturer's name plate installed anywhere? tnx Pat aa6eg@hotmail.com _______________________________________________ See: http://www.mscomputer.com for "Self Supporting Towers", "Wireless Weather Stations", and lot's more.
