Hello Tommy,

I recently dismantled a C31XR and found it easy. It really helps to have a drill press acessory to a hand drill, (or a real drill press) and a vee shaped cradle for the tubing, to accurately drill out the rivets. I used an 1/8" bit...Goes quick that way, and you make precsion holes.

I am going to take a Force 12 antenna apart. To remove the rivets, do I just
use an 1/8 inch drill bit or should I start with a smaller bit first? What helpful hints have you so that I don't screw up the aluminum holes or make
it difficult for the next guy to put things together? Many thanks. 73 Tommy
