Multiple applications of wd40 help.

Ultimately, heating the exterior tube quickly with
a propane torch may break things free. Particularly
if oxidized between the tubes.

Using a wrench or vise grips to hold tubing can gall it.
Conformal wood blocks are more gentle, and still allow you
to get a good grip. .. work to make, though....

Applications of all three techniques.... juice, heat and
torsion, in concert, may work.

Note, if the tubes are galled where they went together...or
if you put in rivets or sheet metal screws...you're pretty
much at risk for not being able to get it apart...or back
together again.

For a really old antenna, you might consider selling it
locally, and let the buyer absorb the problem. Depends
on what your time is worth.

Good luck.
