Probably the best place would be a hamfest for the pot.
As far as the connector hookup goes, I have 4 tailtwisters and I
modified all of them by using a heavy duty connecter from Davis RF.
Think the Wireman also carries them. Basically, it looks very much
like the plug one might use to connect a trailer light system. Has 8
very heavy connectors. I removed that &&%^$ phenolic block from the
rotors, and cut a thin aluminum replacement. One hole in the center,
and then wired the
connector directly to the respective points. Each assembly also comes
with a mate, so all you have to do is just plug it in. The plugs are
such that you cannot hook them up
wrong.
As it now stands, I can replace a rotor in about 15 minutes.
