I don't have a guyed tower so this question is more curiosity than
anything else.

Has anyone ever coated a guy anchor with, say, some form of rubber
coating?  Say put a 1/4" of coating on it, throw a few layers of paint on
it, set it in concrete and then occasionally add paint to the exposed
sections to keep a UV protectant on it.

I would think that if the anchor was galvznized prior to coating, and no
nicks occured as well as a thick coating going on the part of the guy
where the guys attach that you wouldn't have to worry about rust or a
sacrificial component either.

Just a thought!  :)
