I use an engine hoist and a couple of 2 X 6s laid out flat under the legs to
keep it from sinking in.
I chain looped around the ground rod so it pulls itself tight, or a good
clamp and you can pull 8' rods out of clay.
Of course this is handy only if you have a hoist handy.
Even a couple of bumpter jacks *might* work if you take it easy.
