I would like some input on the design of my new antenna farm.

Currently, there is one 150 foot Rohn 45 about 30 feet north of the shack.
Call it tower A. It will eventually have four antennas stacked at 152, 119,
87 and 56 feet. The property line is about 230 feet north of this tower.
The property is heavily wooded and about 500 feet is being cleared, 250 feet
east and west of the shack.

Thirty one sections of Rohn 55G have recently been acquired. These are used
and will be re-galvanized soon. Two more towers will be erected using these
sections. Due to proximity to a local airport, the tallest tower must be
less than 200 feet to avoid special permission from the FAA.

The current plan is to put these new towers, called B and C, equidistant
from A to form a large V to the north. If the V is 90 degrees, B and C will
each be about 160 feet from A and about 220 feet apart. If the V is 120
degrees, B and C will be about 200 feet from A and about 340 feet apart.
Either of these configurations will allow sufficient room for the guys
assuming standard Rohn specifications at 150 and 160 feet tall.

One of the new towers will have a two element 80 on the top. The elements
are 102 feet. Plans for other antennas on these towers are incomplete.

Which of the two above configurations would you choose? Or, would you do
something different? Thanks in advance for your comments.

73, Keith NM5G
