US Fish and Wildlife Service and CA Dept of Wildlife policies on open 
space easement.  Its more than 25 pages long.


A google search on "California Open Space Easement" will give you many, 
many links to various local definitions, policies, etc. in CA.  I'm not 
an attorney, but many of these sites have their own local definitions.
