When 9913 first came out and special N connectors weren't available I
would tin the center conductor and use a Dremel tool to reduce the
diameter to fit the pin of the N connector I was using.

Subject: [SteppIR] Belden 9913F7 & N Connector
I am having a little difficulty installing a N Connector onto a 20
foot length of Belden 9913F7 for my 4 element SteppIR. My problem is
that I am unable to insert the 7 strand center conductor into the
pin. The hole diameter is too small. Any work arounds or suggestions
would be appreciated. I don't have any extra pins that have a larger
solder hole. Fred, AB8AH
