By now, you probably have all the spec. info on the 40-2CD. It is readily
available from a number of sources. If not, E-mail me and I' ll send it along.
I have been using the 40-2CD for several years and have found it to be an
excellent performer. I would recommend that anyone considering the 40-2CD go an
extra step and install the mechanical strengthening kit before putting the
antenna up ( unless the previous owner has already installed it ). As far as
I know, Mike - W9RE- still offers a nice package of the tubing, plates, and
hardware needed. Mine has been through several heavy ice storms and high winds
without a whimper.
