Hello Mike-I have been following this thread from the beginning. As with
many other queries made to the board, there are many qualified folks who can
state empirically, their opinions, and make educated recommendations, for
practically any question. Possibly, you might consider stating your "own"
objectives a little more specifically. The 9 sq. ft. is a great start.

You've been a ham for over 20 years, and probably have some specifics in
mind, as opposed to someone quite new. On QRZ, you stated interests in
10-meter Dxing, QRP, and some domestic (NA) contests. Are you still
interested in these areas?

What is your approximate budget?
New or used?
What mounting height?
Are 15 and 20 as important as 10 is to you also?

Rather than having a pissing match between really nice guys, all with valid
opinions, you might help narrow the "playing field," and get much more
usable data by being a bit more specific. Good luck with your search.
