I was happy to pay $29 for hardware pieces and
pay a $70 reward for a brilliant and simple design
that worked very well and came with spare yellow
weights!
Shooting from the small cleared area behind the
house where the center feed line would be located,
I could get the weight up and over branches at 90 feet,
but the weight then fell into dense woods, and I was
never able to get the weight to the ground, as it would
hang or snag on a branch, and I'd have to break the
fishing line and try again, always with the same results.
But shooting from the clutterd side into the cleared
area so that you can recover the weight did work fine,
although I could only get the weight up to about 75 feet,
because I would hit the clutter on the way up and slowed
the weight down..
