One could probably come up with some sort of elevator scheme that could fly
the antenna up and down, while leaving guys attached. Probably need some
sort of az/el/roll positioner though, and it would require some thought to
figure out how to snake a multi element antenna up through the guys. It
might be useful to have the guys attached at staggered (by a foot or so)
heights. An interesting problem, but it would let you experiment on a
really tall tower (would that I could install such a thing on my suburban
5000 sq ft lot...).
