Dyneema is probably great low-stretch spinnaker sheets or
haliards. You can replace them with little effort.
Rope is NOT appropriate for guying towers. Changing out
guysets is real work.
If in doubt as to why, see the previous part of the thread
about losing 30% of its strength to UV degredation, in short
order...and costing the same as steel. Should be a no brainer.
Stick with known stuff for towers.
A little stretch is a good thing, unless you're racing sailboats,
and need the last 2% of energy transferred to drive.
