I have used 3 different Rohn HDBX towers over the years and have had
good luck with them however I didn't ever use them with extra large
antennas. To use the bottom 3 sections, mount the rotor near ground
level and run a 20 ft or longer section of tubing from the rotor to the
elevation rotor and you should be good to go, no twist concerns and at
24 feet the tower should be adequate for any thing that you can hang on
it. They are also reasonably priced and new components are still available.
