A synthetic lube is probably the best, but an expensive alternative. Hub
City's gear reducers (as used on US Towers) recommends thier p/n
8-58-00-01-011 which I believe is Exxon-Mobile's SHC634 synthetic lube
(quart container). A google search will find the specs on the lube.
