Tennadyne was purchased by a guy in Michigan, about 18 months ago.
So was Cubex Quads, apparently. The website is silent on that
topic. The phone number in their current QST advert (616 868 9907)
says "thank you for calling Tennadyne and Cubex antenna products"....
I didn't leave a message, but there's no reason to think they went
out of business so quickly after acquisition.
Did you get an answer to email to tennadyne@tennadyne.com ?
On the topic of rope....a lot of stuff would work. You can get
1/8" dacron coated kevlar with 800 lbs tensile strength from
RadioWorks. Or...if you only need 15' of the stuff, email me
and I'll send you 20' off of my spool, for the price of the
postage. I'm about to donate it to the W2GD 160m site, anyway.
What antenna do you have?
