Eric, you can expect the 15 meter performance of the Bencher to be affected
by the 40m beam at any reasonable spacing because the 40m elements are 3
half waves long on 15m. A spacing of 6-8 feet has been used by many people
with minimal reaction except on 15m. You need to look into the wind loading
on your tower when you mount beams above the tower top on a mast. It is VERY
easy to exceed the tower ratings with a system like you propose. There has
been some discussion about this in the last week or 2 on this reflector and
someone posted a location where there is a calculator to investigate
this.73, Dan, N5AR

I wanrt to install a bencher skyhawk triband beam at about 40- 50 feet and
put a cushcraft big thunder monoband 40 meter 2 element beam on the same
mast above it. how much above it should I go, and how could it affect the
propogation of the skyhawk?
