Coax Seal is a trade marked product of Universal Electronics. It is 
essentially a repackaged duct seal which you'll find in most hardware 
stores in a large brick format. When used properly, it will provide a 
moisture proof barrier. As LXC said though, you put it on over tape. 
Otherwise, you have sealed a one time connector.

Amp has a "cold fusion tape" that has an adhesion side and will work 
in cold weather. Davis RF and I both sell the stuff.

There is also a self vulcanizing tape that is better applied in warm 
weather that is commonly found in hardware stores.
