Amphenol never stopped making silver plated PL-259s. The standard, off the
shelf 83-1SP is silver plated (that's what the "SP" stands for). The shell
is nickel plated, since it doesn't require soldering, but the connector body
has always been silver plated and still is, as is the pin.
