The real problem are the PE's, the least expensive quote I have received so far
is $350, and that's if I do the drawing and spec the rebar cage!!
That's the average and to be expected cost. I find it amazing that some folks
will spend thousands of dollars on rigs and a similar total for a totally
installed and furnished tower but will balk at one item that is a small
percentage of the total cost. You really want to do right by your local
building/zoning department; having a good relationship will reap dividends
later.
