All:
After clearing the ice from the winch, I can now
see that the pawl or spring-loaded latch is still
there, but it looks like the crank shaft that the
sprockets are attached to shifted to one side
causing the sprockets to go out of alignment with
the pawl. Looks like whatever held the shaft
inline, must have broke. Could be a bushing issue.
Antennas look fine, just worried about any damage
to the tower "stops" that keep it from slamming
down.
