I have a Dentron MT-3000A-clone MFJ-984 tuner. I'd like to improve performance on 80 & 160M QRO and read of one Ham changing the C1 240pf input series cap to 750pf and C2 114pf to 675pf. While I expect that would work well wouldn't I lose most usefulness on 20 and up? Can someone recommend a good middle-ground set of values? The current caps are 9" L, 2.75" W 2.75" H. -- Thanks! & 73, doc, KD4E Projects: ham-macguyver.bibleseven.com Personal: bibleseven.com/kd4e.html _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
