George - sounds like we have a similar 
"problem".  I did exactly what Steve recommended 
and it works fine.  I sleep well at night.  You

Click on Ham Radio, then Tower Project.  It's 
been up for almost 4 years....not a problem even 
in 88 mph wind gusts that blew out the windows on the front of my home.
