I've used rg213 pairs as house-entrance extensions of
open wire line. You should expect it to be lossy,
particularly if you're using it as a multi-band antenna,
where vswr may be quite high on some frequencies.

The bigger issue is the balun. Often the baluns within
a tuner won't handle anywhere near the rated power of the
tuner, if the vswr is high. Having an external balun,
and changing to a single coax coming in could be more
efficient, and conceivably handle higher power.

Which do you think has higher loss... ONE piece of coax
run at high vswr, or TWO?
