Right, Before the rotator the beam will fail. There is a damage foto of the Optibeam OB11-5 with almost identical wind load from my neighborhood: http://www.darc.de/distrikte/h/29/grafik/omk_nach_2.jpg 73 Peter -----Original Message----- From: towertalk-bounces@contesting.com [mailto:towertalk-bounces@contesting.com] On Behalf Of R. If the guts of the rotator can withstand 35sqft of wind load, then is it unreasonable to ask that the mast clamp be able to also? A 16sqft load is not that big. Big tribander and a shorty 40 on the same mast. _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
