I've been renting a lot of cranes the past year or so. By the end of
this month, I will have spent about $75,000 on cranes in Toronto and
Seattle!
Cranes in the Seattle area are not expensive, altho if you live out in
the tooleys you may get clipped for a hefty travel charge. About 6
hours over two days at two locations set me back about $1200 - hardly
the cost of a tower!
I made up the following web page to prove a point to the Toronto airport
authorities regarding their red tape B.S., but it demonstrates what the
costs and equipment looked like for me. Some of the comments and
