RG8X?  I've been using it at full power for contesting for years on my  80 
meter loops and dipoles for years.  I've never had a problem with  it.  It's 
great for that use since it is very light weight and doesn't pull  the loop or 
dipole down all that much like the heavier cable would.
 
I've also used it on my 40 meter dipoles...same results.  I think it  could 
be a problem up at the higher bands like 10 especially if the SWR was  high.
