I would have to disagree on the Tashjian customer service comment. I see
no mention of trying the phone - with which I've always been able to
contact Tashjian.

Karl and his staff have been very helpful on the few occasions that I've
needed to contact them. I even got a brand new lift motor, a complete
motor wiring diagram, and new motor pulleys and belts for my TriEx CT-9
106-foot tower trailer, manufactured circa 1972, just a couple of years
ago. All it took was a couple of phone calls.

Karl even offered to provide engineering services to create a current set
of calcs (for a fee, of course - he is a business, after all) on a
160-foot rotating T-26 Clementower he designed for Frank Clement, W6KPC
(TriEx's previous owner), some 20 or so years ago, and which I now own. I
doubt that you would ever get that kind of service offer from Rohn or US
Tower because they would deem the tower "too old" or "not up to code".

Tashjian is a small business, with a lot of customers - including the US
Navy, among others. It's no surprise to me at all that they might get
buried in e-mails. Try the phone.
