I'm interested in this also.  I'd like to use 1/2" Heliax (LDF4-50A) with a 
2 or 3 turn loop.  This coax run is for my 2M weak signal antenna and I'd 
like to minimize the number of connectors.  Does anyone have any experience 
using hardline this way?
