I am really new to tower hardware and have been given some guy wire (13EHS)
with shackles already installed along with insulators
using 'big grips', looks like a job done by professionals or someone who really
knows what they are doing at least.

I was also given a internet link to 'Anchors' at really good prices and they
seem of good quality as well. My only problem now is -

How (where) do I measure the shackles that I have been given and know what size
they are, so that I can buy 'anchors' that they will
fit into, I dont have the money to waste on trial and error?

Luke 14:28-30

28"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and
estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to
complete it? 29For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it,
everyone who sees it will ridicule him, 30saying, 'This
fellow began to build and was not able to finish.'
