I have guy wire and all that I need to attach it finally.

Therefore, I am presently reading the Rohn Catalog on the section on guying.

It shows how to guy a tower if it is a 40', but mine is not that tall. It is
only approx 28 feet to the top of it since I have two
10' sections and the top section with the built in mast is only 8' tall and I
had to bury about three feet.

So that is 28 minus three or 25 feet without the 10 foot mast.

I am trying to figure out the distance from the tower to place the guy posts.

I am planning on mounting the guy bracket on the tower about 4 feet below the
rotor which in mounted on the rotor plate in the top
bay of the upper section of the tower (approx 5' below the top).

How far should I put the guy posts under these circumstances?
Or better yet is there a formula I can use in all situations of height.
