...depends on where you are on the db/$ curve! If you have already made sure
you have the full legal limit output power for your country, and you have the
best receiver you can afford, then you have already worked your way up the
curve, and 400$ per db is a bargain!
Where else in your station can you get 2db? [Especially on Tx AND Rx]?
e.g. if your tower is around 80-100 feet high, and you can add 10 feet to it,
at low elevation angles that's worth 1 db.
