I wonder if a metal box is really necessary. My SO2R switching system is
in a Rubbermaid box mounted on my tower base. Grounding is provided by a
piece of aluminum plate on which the individual relay boxes are mounted. I
got the aluminum plate by asking nicely at the local DOT office, where they
have a pile of damaged road signs waiting to be thrown away.
