performance (at least in some situations)

directional arrays as a means of directional antenna performance
verification. The NPRM came out early last spring and generated a lot of
hubbub at the NAB spring show and through the summer. Now, the rules
have been approved by the FCC and are slated to become effective in
February."
and, by the way, the rules about structures owned by licensees within
some distance and notifications, etc., have been in place for some
years, specifically 47CFR 22.371 and 47CFR 27.63 (I found an article
from 2003 that talks about it). So this new rule might be the computer
modeling aspect. It might also only apply to some services and not
others. (For instance, does it apply to the operator of a construction
crane, or the builder of a multi story building? )
