You're not getting it.
25g and 45g are identical in design. The difference between them is
that
45G has an 18" face, and 25g has a 12" face. The legs are 1.25"
diameter, swaged down
on one end, for a distance of about 5". NEITHER of these use sleeves.
There ARE knockoffs which do. But this doesn't matter.
I assume you're trying to ERECT the tower, not just identify it.
Knowing its manufacturer isn't going to change the fundamental problem.
So, let's refocus:
The original question had to do with getting the sleeve over the leg of
whatever tower it is you have. (Comments about not drilling out the
bolt holes missed the point, although that's a good point, as well.)
If I understand your problem correctly, what you need to do is get a
piece
of leg (or properly sized pipe) about 18" long, and use it as a test-
fixture,
to make sure it goes into each sleeve. Use a rat-tail file to clean
out any
gunk or metal fingers in the way of mating, and be sure to grease the
tube
before inserting it into each sleeve.
The second part of the problem is having all 3 legs align properly.
this may
require some 'adjustment' of one or more legs. That 18" piece of
pipe or leg
will come in handy, at this point.
Someone observed that it's easier to work this stuff, if gravity is
helping you.
The best test-fixture in the world is a tower base section, that you
can test-insert
each tower section into, at ground level. Once you know they're
all good, then
you can erect.
Worst thing on the planet is to find you're wrestling with a 90lb
section of 45g at 60', and one of the damned legs is off by an eighth
of an inch.
You've got nothing but air to work against, in straightening it.
Trust me, this
unhappy event will turn the air blue, and bring you off the tower in
a hurry.

I am somewhat confused ... I was under the impression that the 45G and
55G have welded sleeves on legs, and 20G and 25G have swaged legs. Some
recent replies suggest that Rohn 45G has swaged legs and look very
similar to 25G (except for different in size)? Were there 2 different
designs over the years?
Not that the tower sections I have are 45G, but I was sure the welded
sleeves were similar to 45G. Can anyone shed some light?
