I use a 15' length of 6061 T-6 schedule 80 tubing (heavy wall!) for my mast. There's a 3L SteppIR about 2 feet above the bearing, a 2m K1FO weak signal yagi, and a VHF/UHF vertical on the top. It's been in place for nearly 5 years; wind and ice loaded and it's fine. And when your sole ground crew is your XYL, it made the difference when it came time to lift into place.
