i was looking for a bit more specificity. tubing diameter, wall thickness, 
taper schedule
recommendations.

something reasonably sturdy, knowing FEW THINGS will survive a hurricane.

Scrap antennas (I've picked up some off the auction site), old
antennas that didn't work well, aluminum from Texas Towers, EMT from
the hardware store, only wire (had a 20 quad with eight elements
once). Lots of things.
