Normal practice is:

Put 3 sections together on the ground, put guys on those sections, hoist to
vertical and install the guys and snug them up.

Climb this short tower with a gin pole, pull up and install the next
section. Climb to the top of it, above the guys, pull up the gin pole,
install the next section in the same way.

On the ground, attach guys to the next section, then pull it up and bolt it
in. Go down to the ground, fix and tighten guys from the just-installed
section.

Back to the top and repeat until done.

I'm thinking about putting up a Rohn 25 or 45 tower to at least 60 feet.
What does one use as temporary guys while building the tower?  Do you put
temporary guys on each section as you go and keep moving them upwards?

Thanks.
