FYI: the jack in my 2004 VW Golf is perfect for separating Rohn 25 sections.
The "tongue" has a piece of channel that engages the Z bar securely. I place
a plank across the "opposing" Z bar to ensure the jack doesn't slip. All the
usual words of caution and disclaimers apply, of course (FWIW, YMMV, etc.).
Most important, don't over do it - if it doesn't want to go with this much
force, there's probably something going on that needs to be fixed before
they will come apart. You want "controlled" separation - you don't want
things flying apart tens of feet up in the air.
I can see it now... hams all over the world running to the nearest junk
yard...
