And I believe that WLW in Cincinnati still has a Blaw-Knox tower, although a
new tower was placed in service in 1998. Strange critter...canteliver design
guyed only at the middle for 700+ feet of tower. WCKY in Cincinnati
(actually Covington, KY) also had a Blaw-Knox tower but it was destroyed by
a tornado some 20 years ago. A couple of things that may be of interest

I was Chief Engineer for WUBE in Cincinnati in the late '80's and visited
WLW and VOA's Bethany relay station as part of a SBE tour. I hated to see
the VOA Sterba curtain and rhombic antennas go!
