I've used their VHF pre-amps on 6M and 2M, and they work fine. BUT
-- they do NOT like a much RF in their front end -- they fail. I'm
using a DXE preamp to match the level of my Beverages to the RX
inputs of my K3 (also FT1000MP, TS850) and it works VERY well. So
well, in fact, that my Beverages are still useful on 20M!
Note that preamps are almost never needed below about 14 MHz except
for these low output RX antennas, and even then, only to equalize
their levels with the main TX antennas.
