I am told that the "new" socket ends are very expensive as is the potting
compound kit Phillystran will not sell me without an order for new ends.
I have some 5/16" stran-vices that I can use for end connectors, by
removing
the jaws and compression spring. Any suggestions on where I might find a
pint kit of an exceptable potting compound?

What generation Phillystran is it? The original stuff had a stiff PVC
jacket - the current stuff you can tie in a knot. I've only seen cable
clamps used with it currently. If it's the only style, I didn't know there
were potting sockets for it.

What's your application? Guy wires or what? The HPTG2100 isn't rated
for any tower guys so it must be for another use. If it's non-mission
critical the way it's terminated is less important; e.g. boom truss.
