I'll be putting up a tower on the top of the knob this spring. Due to some
great slope, HAFTA shows 35 FT to be a good height on 10-20M and 40-45 FT on
30 and 40M. Plan is to put up a 35 FT tower and a 10-15 FT mast. Have a
KT34XA and the M2 upgrade and a Cushcraft XM240 that I might convert to a
W6NL/K3LR Moxon. Could stick something like a Force 12 WARC-7 in between on
the mast or go with a Force 12 5BA at the tope of the tower and a Force 12
230-240 at the top of the mast. Main interest here is DXing, my contesting
stamina is limited - I'm too old for the 48 hour thing anymore ! I'd be
interested in any ideas for antenna combinations on this tower
configuration.
