I have 150' of Rohn 65G. I picked this tower up ( scrap steel price). it's the
20ft sections except for the tapered base ,it's 10'.
W3MM has a Rohn 65G /SSVT gin pole, But I opted to use a crane. Three sets of
guys ( also Polygon fiberglass rod)
I pre prepared the tower for three lifts 60' 60' and 30'. Each 60' lift had
the poly rods pre attached and terminated B-4 the next lift.
The crane arrived at 8:15AM and gone by 11:00AM .
You have a BIG wind load above the top guy and IMHO would opt for the 4th set
45.90,135,180 and a 20' top section free standing.
The stuff is Varsity big league tower . not something a single climber can
muscle around like 25.45 or 55 G Heck the side rails are 2" OD 125 wall. the
rungs step is 21+ in. ( Takes some getting use to the BIG step)
