Dick,

You have to have power for the meter to work.  As I mentioned in my last
email, you might get by with having both controllers hooked up in parallel
(with the exception of the two leads for the phasing capacitor - you only
want one in use).  If  that works, you do not have to worry about both being
on (master slave units - where the "slave" has the fuse removed in the meter
circuit.)
