Why not just clearly on the mark the mid point of one of the cross braces on
the inside of the flat side which is next to the house. Then tie a piece of
rope to the leg that is out away from the house and walk a little ways away
from the tower, line up the outside leg with the mark on the cross brace,
pull the rope out to that point and you'll have a line to a future anchor.
Just continue out that line for whatever distance away you want the anchor
to be. Then you can take a piece of cardboard and draw a straight line and
with a protractor draw lines at 30 degrees each side of it. Line up the
first - middle - line to point to the tower then the other two lines will
be pointing to your other two anchors . Then a little trig will tell you how
far out to go along theses two lines. And Voila !, you've got your three
anchor points.
The real copout, but good enough for government work, would be to just draw
it out to scale on a piece of paper.
