What are folks' opinions on nuts with nylon inserts in the cap?  We
refurbished a Jontz tower, and used them.  They seem to be doing very well
after 5 years.

I think it depends a lot on what kind of lock washer is used.

I used to work on heavy equipment in the woods and we've seen instances 
where the lock washers just rusted away and fell out.  Don't think you'd 
want to use just plain steel lock washers.  73
