Do you ground any of your rotator conductors? I haven't checked the internal
schematic of my rotator controller (Green Heron) or the rotator itself. Is
one or more of the conductors at ground potential?

Suspended conductors are great at picking up induced voltages and 
horrendous static charges if not grounded. This includes any control 
cables such as rotator and remote antenna controls.
